On the occasion of International Women’s Day today, EVENTFAQS Media presents the #PowerWomen Forum Conversations, to be hosted live from 4 pm to 6.30 pm on the EVENTFAQS Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The keynote speaker for the event is Nisha Narayanan, Director and COO, RED FM and Magic FM in a session moderated by YouTuber and actor Prajakta Koli on ‘What Will it Take to Have More Woman Leaders Around?’ The discussion will revolve around barriers that women leaders still face in the industry and draw upon possible solutions not just to ensure equality but work towards developing more female leadership.

The highlight of the event will be a couple of sharp panel discussions among leading women in the events industry, sharing insights on ‘Do Women Feel Safe in the Events Industry?’ and ‘How Can Women Find the Right Mentors and Become Mentors Themselves?
In the first session on ‘Do Women Feel Safe in the Events Industry?’, the panel of speakers include Aarti Mattoo, MD, Momentum Experiences and Events LLP; Niyati Vora, Vice President, Wizcraft International; Prerana Saxena, CEO, Theme Weavers Designs and Tabassum Modi, Founder Director, Victor Tango. The discussion will debate what next to be done in the context of women’s safety. The session moderator will be anchor, actor and VO artiste Sanchalli Arora.
In the second session on ‘How can women find the right mentors and become mentors themselves?’, the speakers are Gitikka Ganju Dhar, anchor, actor, communication coach and Founder, Ministry of Talk; Lydia Buthello, Head of Events, Jio World Centre; Poonam Lal, MD, Marketing Solutions and Chair-CSR, We Care Initiatives, EEMA; Reema Sanghavi, MD, Maximus MICE & Media Solutions; Co-founder, Pinkathon and Sushma Gaikwad, Co-founder, Ice Global and Wizcraft MIME. The panel will discuss why women find it difficult to get the guidance of a senior professional as a mentor, and how more mentoring can be encouraged.
