Kashish Announces Official Festival Poster Design Contest Ahead of its 12th Edition in May, 2021

KASHISH 2020 Virtual Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival (India)
Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival (India), an annual LGBT event, has invited graphic designers across the world to participate in the Kashish 2021 Wendell Rodricks Poster Design Contest to design the official festival poster and overall look for the festival’s upcoming 12th edition in May, 2021 with the theme ‘Unlock with Pride’.
The poster design contest offers a cash award of Rs 25,000 and a Kashish Butterfly trophy. The contest will be closed for entries on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 11:59 pm (IST).
The theme of Kashish 2021 represents the festival's mission to unlock geographical and racial barriers, and encourage love and acceptance of #LGBTQIA+ individuals, and thereby unlock a new normal of hope for everyone.
The entries will be shortlisted by the Kashish core team and the winner will be picked by Jerome Marell, partner of the late fashion designer Wendell Rodricks. Winning poster selection will be based on relevance, authenticity and innovation. The winner(s) of the contest will be credited in the Press, festival website and catalogue.
Due to the still prevailing pandemic situation, and to ensure the safety of everyone, the festival will be held online.
