Nature’s Basket Christmas Cookathon
Gourmet grocery delivery brand Nature’s Basket has launched Christmas Cookathon, a campaign to celebrate the spirit of Christmas through a 10-day activity from December 15-24, 2020. The Cookathon features 10 chefs, home bakers and home cooks who will demonstrate some Christmas recipes while going live from Nature’s Basket stores in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune. The live broadcast will take place on the brand’s social media handles.
The Christmas Cookathon aims to encourage consumers to enjoy the holiday season with some gourmet delights that can be made using easily available ingredients. The expert line-up includes Karishma Sakhrani, Rakhee Vaswani, Natasha Diddee, RuheeBhimani, Ronak Rajani and Aditi Gaware. In addition to the demos, the chefs will also give tips on food styling and food photography.

“This year has seen a lot of muted celebrations during festivals. As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to usher in the spirit of Christmas, while at the same time being cognizant of the current situation. Since food is just an integral part of any festival, we decided to create Christmas magic at Nature’s Basket with a gourmet touch. The Christmas Cookathonis also inline with our omni-channel strategy, where the sessions take place at our stores but are also accessible to a larger audience via social media,” said Devendra Chawla, CEO, Nature’s Basket and Spencer’s Retail.
Nature’s Basket, recently acquired by Spencer’s Retail, has also implemented additional safety measures to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and chefs during the campaign period.
