RMAI Announces Shortlists for Flame Awards Asia 2020; Introduces Three Special Categories

RMAI Flame Awards Asia 2020
The Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI), the industry body of rural marketers, is organising its flagship event Flame Awards Asia 2020, virtually via Facebook Live on October 23, 2020. EVENTFAQS Media is the media partner for the event.
Instituted in 2006, Flame Awards, which is in its 11th year now, acknowledges the best of rural marketing projects, initiatives and practices in the South-Asian region. The event will witness over 200 entries from across the sectors fiercely contesting in these awards from India and overseas.
This year, the association has introduced three special categories:
1. Work of the Decade: A campaign which is being run for 10 or more years.
2. Innovative Activity in Pandemic: An activity that has been executed keeping in mind the pandemic situation.
3. Academic Institution recognised for its efforts in creating ‘Future Leaders for Rural’
The entries have been judged by an experienced jury comprising business leaders, brand custodians, marketers, media/advertising professionals, and domain experts in rural marketing, chaired by S Sivakumar, Group Head - Agri. & IT Businesses, ITC Limited.
The winners were determined by a Grand Jury comprising Pops KV Sridhar, Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Hyper Collective; Venkatadri Ranganathan, Chief Operating Officer, Nutrition Science Business, Tata Chemicals; Prabhakar Tiwari, Chief Marketing Officer, Angel Broking; Subhobroto Chakraborty, Founder, The Digital Fellow; Aalhad Wadekar, Category Manager - CVO, Greases, Gear Oils & Splt, Gulf Oil Lubricants; Siddhartha Choudhary, Founder & CEO, Helicrofter; Arun Kumar, Business Leader - LED (Lamps, Luminaries & Electronics), Signify Innovations and Sanjay Gupta, Group Product Manager, Abbott India.
