Ash Chandler Hosts India’s First Virtual H.O.G. Rally for Harley-Davidson

A multi-talented performer, entertainer, host, emcee, stand-up comedian, and singer, Ash Chandler, hosted India’s first-ever live virtual Eastern H.O.G. Rally (EHR) for Harley-Davidson India.
The event was streamed live by the brand on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
The EHR was one of Harley-Davidson’s zonal rallies originally planned for March 2020. It had to be postponed on account of the lockdown.
Sharing his thoughts about hosting India’s first-ever virtual H.O.G. rally for Harley-Davidson India, Chandler said, “When my Hog brother Karan Malhotra from Yellow Stage events called me about a H.O.G rally, I was immediately sold. As the main act for the very first Indian H.O.G rally in Goa in '12, it was such a blast to ride with my H.O.G brothers to Goa and perform for riders from across India with Karen Davidson in attendance. As this was the Eastern H.O.G rally (EHR), it was being hosted by the Kolkatta chapter and it was the first time in the History of Harley Davidson that they had a virtual H.O.G rally. I couldn't pass up a chance to be part of this history.”
“As I had already been doing shows out of my studio space in Atlanta, Georgia (where I've been since 22nd of March), it was wonderful to do this. I had done over 23 concerts virtually from here and it was starting to feel like the new normal. The show for HD was so beautifully planned and realized by HD and Yellow Stage with performances from Rahul Ram (Indian Ocean) and me compering, singing and doing comedy, such a joy to see the thousands of comments and compliments streaming at the bottom of the page was overwhelming. While NOTHING can take the place of being in the same venue as an audience, I think we have managed to use technology so well to give people a wonderful experience. It is an exciting time. To realize how exciting it can be, we have to first accept that this is happening. Once we get over the denial, we can see all the opportunity this moment can offer and see how we can be useful in this time,” he added.
Along with Chandler, the rally also offered performances by artistes such as The Unplugged Project, Rahul Ram from the Indian Ocean, and Debanjali Lily.
The rally also witnessed the first virtual launch for Harley Davidson, that of its Low Rider S cruiser.
