Rashi Entertainment & Delhi Police to Organize 'Dill Se Shukriya' a Virtual Concert on 14th May

Rashi Entertainment along with Delhi Police are planning a virtual concert “Dill Se Shukriya” to pay tribute to the Police Department, Frontline Warriors, Essential Workers, Non-Profit Organization Volunteers, and Government Employees for reporting to their duties despite the threat of the current Pandemic. 

This concert is organized to display brotherhood and courage at a time where COVID-19 has affected each and every one of us and to come together in support of all our ‘Corona Warriors’ who fight out in the streets of Delhi every day so we can stay safe in our homes.

The concert will be streamed on Facebook pages of Delhi Police Offical and Rashi Entertainment on May 14th, 2020, from 7 PM onwards.

The artist line up for the virtual concert is a mixture of top Bollywood artists, celebrity chefs, designers, comedians, and more. Most of these artists belong to Delhi, sharing our love for the city and dedication towards the police force.

Some of the names that will be seen performing are Kailash Kher, Shankar Mahadevan, Pankaj Udhas, Usha Uthup, Gautam Gambhir, Harshdeep Kaur, Malkit Singh, Honey Singh, Jasbir Jassi, Papa Cj, Shahdab Farridi, Palash Sen Akhil, Parikrama Band, Rina Dhaka, Sand Artists Rajat Kumar, Zenith Group, Band U-Turn and many more. The Concert will be hosted by Gitiak Ganju and Shammi Narang. 

Mandeep Singh Randhawa Additional Commissioner of Police, said “This is an initiative to spread happiness amongst people during such dire times and a great way to say 'Dill Se Shukriya' to all our Frontline Warriors and Essential Workers. Delhi Police has always stood by the citizens of Delhi and will continue to do so in the future. With you. For you. Always”

Rajeev Jain, Director, Rashi Entertainment said that “This is a small token of appreciation for all the Corona Warriors who risk their lives every day so that we can stay safe in our homes. A huge salute to Delhi Police department for cooperating with us in the planning and execution of this concert”

Delhi Police has taken numerous measures to lend a helping hand in these trying times by mass-producing face masks, preparing food for the marginalized, providing ambulance service to a pregnant woman, celebrating a 70-year-old veteran's birthday who was living alone during the lockdown and many more such initiatives.
