From humble beginnings in 2014, the seventh edition of the Under 25 Summit has much to celebrate in 2020 with a series of India-wide firsts to its credit. The Bengaluru based event is poised to become India’s largest festival ever with 250+ speakers addressing over 18000+ people across two days at the iconic Jayamahal Palace, Bengaluru on 1st and 2nd February 2020.
Co-founders Anto Philip & Shreyans Jain have also built as much clout in classrooms as in boardrooms and newsrooms across the country by pioneering the discovery of many growing Indian subcultures that currently form the underbelly of our youth movement. 2020’s unique festival theme #TakeAStand furthers their dream of uniting the Indian youth-force with a common purpose and pledges to create a community of active doers who do not shy away from taking action on issues and initiatives they feel strongly about. This makes the Under 25 Summit the ‘true north’ for understanding, acknowledging and manifesting the ‘change mindset’ of young India across the 18 to 25 age bracket. The summit aims to achieve this by bringing together renowned experts for Speaker Sessions, Panel Discussions, Live Performances, Art Showcases, Masterclasses, Experience Zones and a lot more across the two-day inspiration-fest.
Curated events at the festival includes a Music Stage, Flea Market, and a Food Zone, however, this is where the similarities (with any other festival) stop. ‘Innovative asks’ by the youth include exclusive additions such as a Gaming Arena, an Innovative Job Market, which will have on display new job areas such as Head of Culture, Well-being Manager, Digital Trend Analyst, Head of Youth Communication, etc, Creative education Zones and Camp Tinder - making this summit #notjustanotheryouthfestival. Drawing attention to ‘matters that matter’ this year, are personalities like Faye D’Souza, Aishwarya Suresh, Tanmay Bhat, Naveen Richard, Jordinian, Sumukhi Suresh, Dhruv Chitgopekar, Spitfire, Mukhesh Chhabra, Taba Chake and many others.
