Panasonic Crossfire Season 8, Knowledge Wins culminated with the Grand Finale held at Heritage Village, Manesar. Crossfire is a initiative in the Consumer Durables industry; with a focus on continuous yearlong learning for the internal sales teams pan India. It runs in the form of a quiz contest divided across 3 employee designations.

Centum Learning designed & conceptualized the event content and questionnaire for various categories. They were also involved in the training process devised in consultation with the team of Panasonic India, led by Jia Lal Koundal, Head Trade Marketing, Exclusive Channel, Contract Manpower Management, Learning & Development.

Rahul Bhatia & his team from Adobe Events & Promotions handled the event fabrication and execution. This year, Centum Learning & Panasonic India was awarded the Silver Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award for “ Best Blended Learning Program” for 2019 for the Crossfire Contest. 

Through a process of learning, training, skill assessment & testing across 4 levels, both on & off-field, the participants are screened. Only a select few make it to nationals/grand finale, that is, level 5. In the grand finale, which spread over 2 days, the contestants competed in various Business Simulation & management Games on day 1 & in the main quiz on day 2. The quiz involved a category wise contest, encompassing individual timed presentations & 5 quizzing rounds including Rapid Fire, Product knowledge, General Awareness, Buzzer & Judges Choice.

The event concluded with the address & acknowledgment of winners by Manish Sharma, President & CEO, Panasonic India & SA, along with other senior officials from the organization. Panasonic India has continuously deployed Sanchalli Arora, as the quizmaster for all its 8 seasons of Crossfire. 

“My role is to make sure that the various rounds of the quiz run seamlessly and result in an impactful & knowledge-based engagement. The involvement of the audience, participants & judges is equal & generates a fun yet austere environment considering the scale & seriousness of the event. I also oversee time management & conformity of rules in conjunction with Centum, Panasonic and the event team. Having been a part of the process since its inception year, I have gained product, market & process knowledge that serves as an advantage in conducting the quiz.” Said Sanchalli Arora, Emcee; Anchor & Actor.
