Harshdeep Kaur, Jonita Gandhi, among 25 Artists to Pledge for #MentalWellness at MPowerWOW Auction

Wizcraft International, MPower Foundation and WOW Awards Asia have come together for a unique initiative to support and stamp out the stigma around Mental Health in the Event Industry. As part of the initiative MPower WOW is inviting leading LIVE artists of India to support the cause of Mental Wellness in the event industry, by pledging one commercial performance for a first-of-its-kind auction at the WOW Awards Asia 2019.

Over 25 leading artists have already come forward and pledged their support for the initiative, with one free commercial performance being offered to the cause as part of an auction among the 1000+ delegates from the event and wedding industry in attendance at the WOW Awards Asia 2019. The proceeds generated will go to the MPower Foundation to further the cause of mental wellness, through specific initiatives and workshops produced across the country for the event industry.

While majority of the artists will be part of the Silent Auction which will take place from June 28, 10:00 a.m. until June 29, 2:00 p.m. in Co-Meeting Room 7, Lower Ground Level, Pullman Hotel, New Delhi Aerocity, three select artists will be Auctioned LIVE as part of the WOW Awards Celebrations, featuring the event industry’s favourite auctioneer: Mandeep Singh, Managing Director, CPM India.

Be a Part of the Cause. Register to Bid:

To be able to bid, one has to register themselves as a Bidder and pay a Registration Fee of INR 50,000/- (which will be held as a deposit till the end of the auction). In case the bid goes through, the deposit of INR 50,000/- will be adjusted against the 20% advance fees to be paid by the winning bidder towards the artist/s fee. If none of the registered bidders offers go through, the INR 50,000/- deposit will be returned to the bidder.

Here’s How to Register:

1. Pay online via Townscript (Recommended): Once the payment is done, the registered bidder will get an MPowerWOW Paddle on June 29th and both the silent and LIVE auction bids would be considered valid.

2. Transfer INR 50,000/- to EVENTFAQS Media via RTGS. Once the payment is done, the registered bidder will get an MPowerWOW Paddle on June 29th and both the silent and LIVE auction bids would be considered.

3. Carry your cheque book to the event and deposit the cheque with Prathamesh Vaidya from Eventfaqs Media. This option is only available till the end of day June 28th, so that by June 29th the payment would be deposited and the bidder would get an MPowerWOW Paddle on June 29th and the bidder’s silent and LIVE auction bid would be considered.

MPower WOW is an initiative to eliminate the stigma around mental illness in the larger event and entertainment industry, provide education and support to a community of event professionals working under stressful conditions.
