'The Million Dollar Round Table' Held at Singapore Initative by The Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance

The Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, MDRT Convention conceptualized and executed by Maximus MICE and Media Solutions was held from October 5 - 7, 2018 at Swissotel The Stamford, Singapore. The remarkable three-day event was graced by more than 550 guests including the managers and advisors of the company and was held at the Fairmont Ballroom.

The Million Dollar Round Table also known as MDRT, is a premier association of finance professionals, with a global independent association of more than 62,000 of the world’s leading life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 500 companies in 69 countries. Maximus successfully handled all aspects of the event including experience design, collaterals, branding, set and stage design, entertainment and hospitality, creating a surreal experience for the guests of ABSLI.

Beginning with a grand welcome into the city, filled with Singaporean flair, the check-ins had the traditional Chinese drummers greeting the guests with a jovial performance.

Moving towards the evening, a night to celebrate the diligence, talent, efforts and excellence exuded by the company’s advisors, the MDRT Convention was arranged as a resplendent celebration that struck awe from the guests through every little segment of the evening. Beginning from the pre-function area itself, that included elements like a levitation artist, mirror man, and two unique photo booths along with a balloon sculpturist for the children.  

Being an event that was attended not just by the advisors, but also their families, little bursts of joy were accommodated throughout, such as calling upon the children to perform the Indian National Anthem and the Aditya Birla Capital anthem. A personal touch was brought by the CEO and CDO who handed the children with gifts, individually, post their time on the stage.

Hosted by well-known anchors Gunjan Utreja and Dilruba Pandey, a harmonious arrangement of some of the finest performances including the authentic Singapore LED Lion act, LED water drummers to act by the Urban Drummers Group, Light Butterfly act was curated to establish a touch of elite elegance and a glamorous experience for the guests.

Gracing the event with their presence were, ABSLI’s CEO Pankaj Razdan and CDO Parag Raja, who interacted with the advisors and delivered their insights on a couple of key aspects.

Since the theme of the convention was to fortify a unique experience that made them feel like Millionaires along with recognising their efforts, the event also hosted an Awards night with over 300 awards spanning across various categories.

Each of the winners were called up on stage to receive their respective awards creating a picture perfect moment of pride for their families. The emcees rocked the crowd and the Famous Singaporean acts won their hearts over. As the night progressed, the DJ was called in, who turned the night around into one electrifying affair.
