Radio Mirchi Initiates 'Teen Rang Humaare' Presented By JSW Cement

To mark the occasion of 72nd Independence Day of India, the eve of August 15, 2018, witnessed the most unique initiative by Radio Mirchi ‘Teen Rang Humaare’. The Campaign was presented by JSW Cement powered by Hyundai. The patriotic evening saw the unfurling of the Biggest National Flag making it an iconic moment in the history of Independence Day celebration in the city of Kolkata.

The Biggest National Flag standing at 12150 sq.ft is a distinctive symbol of pride and emotion for the nation. As part of the initiative ‘Teen Rang Humaare’, a Coffee Table Book capturing the sentiments and heartfelt wishes from people across Kolkata was unveiled. The memorabilia with best 10,000 messages would be presented as a tribute to the Indian Army, at a later date.
Commenting on the occasion Mr. Nitin Singh, Regional Director, North and East, Radio Mirchi said, “The beauty of Teen Rang Humaare lies in engaging with people across sections. The entire initiative is our unique celebration on this Independence Day and a tribute to the unsung heroes of our nation. The overwhelming response from people encourages us to create such pathbreaking initiatives in times to come.”
On August 1947, the momentous occasion of Indian Independence was declared through the popular broadcast medium ‘Radio’. After the 71st year, yet again a Radio channel, Mirchi 98.3 came up with the innovative campaign Teen Rang Humaare. The campaign reached out across the city to engage with around150,000 people to record their gratitude. The week-long initiative saw the participation of students from different schools and colleges and also from corporate houses.
