AMDOCS Junoon 2018 Annual Function Celebrates Health and Happiness; Executed by Team BOLD

AMDOCS’ celebrated its annual function ‘Junoon 2018’ with a health and happiness theme in a grand manner at the Amanora Fern Club’s amphitheatre on May 26, 2018. Bold Marketing was chosen to work around this theme and conceptualise the event with end to end event management and production. The event comprised of various innovative activities like ‘Make your own juice’, a chroma photo booth, an elaborate South Indian food stall section, kids area, and more! 

Being a huge organisation, this annual function was held for one of its two units – PSG-SOM. Considering both, the date selected for the event as well as the weather, the outdoor area of the venue turned out to be a well-lit location for all of the activities and food. 

The set up for Junoon 2018 started the night before the event with the sound, light, and stage taking its form in different areas of the vast amphitheatre. The Bold Marketing team was present with the vendors from the second set up started till the set up had been dismantled, in order to ensure the quality of work that Bold Marketing promises to deliver. 

The flow of the event was very smooth. The chaat corner, chroma photo-booth and ‘Make your own juice’ activation turned out to be the most engaging aspects of the event as people were thoroughly enjoying themselves from the minute they stepped foot into the venue. The 3-hour show ran efficiently. One of the main challenges was to get the 800+ audience to settle down for the performances as there were over 10 food stalls and a lot of games. This was quite easily managed by the show’s emcee Megha Sapate as she effortlessly engaged with the large audience. 

Choreographer Dax Mathews did a wonderful job with over six employee and senior management performances. Not only did the employees participate, but their families were also a part of the stage shows which turned out to be extremely entertaining and engaging. Everyone was on their feet cheering for their loved ones! 

There was a pre-event ‘Funathon’, which was a marathon held at Magarpatta to engage all of their employees and spread awareness about the importance of health and happiness, and of course, create hype for Junoon 2018. The Funathon started at 6AM and finished at 8AM with emcee Yasha Palankar taking over the event and engaging everyone in a session of Bollywood Zumba and warm-up exercises. 

Talking about getting AMDOCS on board as their newest client, Business Development Manager, Namrata Kaur says, “Cracking AMDOCS as a client took a while because of their stringent vendor selection criteria. Our hard work did pay off eventually even though it took a while. The team was very open to listen to our innovative ideas based on their theme and we eventually did manage to put up a fun event for the employees and their families!”
