Red Bull Music To Bring Down French Synthstress Stellar OM Source For Three-City Tour

After bringing down the iconic New York-based party and label The Bunker to India in January this year, Red Bull Music have a treat for the synthesizer community, and dance music fans in May. 

Frenchsynthstress Stellar OM Source, known for her trademark lush and evocative synth-heavy productions, will tour India for three shows in May, visiting Mumbai (May 23-24), Hyderabad (May 26) and Bangalore (May 27). Stellar OM Source will also interact with Indian synth heads and artists on the 23rd International Synth Day on May 23, 2018, at a day-long programme organised at the True School of Music, Mumbai. 

Christelle Gualdi when not making music – is an artist that manages to make music that sounds new and timeless at the same time. Christelle is also no stranger to India, having spent time in the country in the past to learn Hatha yoga. She is also one of the few musicians to have played alongside Indian producer and proclaimed father of the acid house, Charanjit Singh in Antwerp in 2012, and is keen to interact with Indian electronic music fans and artists on her first trip to India as a performing artist. 

“Most of what I do is to reach people, coming in a state of exchange. This trip to India is such an incredible chance to bring my experience, knowledge and learn from people having similar interests,” Christelle says. “I am definitely curious about how Indians approach electronic music today. I’m only aware of Charanjit Singh (RIP) with whom I played in Antwerp, so I’m very eager to know more, hear exciting music and make great discoveries as well as open some doors for people,” she adds. 

Stellar OM Source will perform a live set in all three cities, and will also hold a workshop on International Synthesizer Day for local synth nerds on May 23 at True School of Music, Mumbai. The day’s programme will also feature a Geardo meetup and jam with other synth enthusiasts from Mumbai.
