GeoSpa asiaSpa India Awards Celebrated Its 11th Year With Grandiosity

AsiaSpa, one of India's top wellness and lifestyle magazines successfully celebrated the 11th edition of GeoSpa asiaSpa Awards in Mumbai on April 23, 2018. With Geospa being the title sponsor, the event was held at The St. Regis Hotel which was also the hospitality partner. 

The awards were managed by asiaSpa team internally. It saw the presence of the bigwigs from the wellness and hospitality industries apart from Bollywood celebrities, corporates and stalwarts from the field of sports. Every year, the GeoSpa asiaSpa India Awards celebrates the efforts of those who have played an instrumental role in putting India’s wellness industry on the world map. This year too, the ceremony acknowledged the best in the wellness industry – from best spas and hotels to spa products and spa experts.

 
The event also marked the completion of 14 years of asiaSpa India as a trendsetter for the spa and wellness industry in the country.
 

Speaking at the 11 edition of Geospa asiaSpa India Awards, Pankaj Arora, MD, Geospa Fitness said, "Our country has woken up to the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and people are taking various measures to lead a healthy life. The health and fitness sector has been growing at a steady rate of 1719 percent. Spiked by increasing focus on health, fitness and spa centres are growing and becoming part of the lifestyle of young India. This has led to a sharp growth in modern retail which is estimated at 28 percent of the total market and is projected to grow by 24-30 percent.
