Flipkart Fashion Conclave 2018: A Joint Endeavour Of Flipkart And ACME Experience Marketing

Flipkart ACME Experience

Flipkart collaborated with Acme Experience Marketing Pvt. Ltd. for the third edition of The Flipkart Fashion Conclave 2018. The conclave showcased some of the best technology and fashion related events and created a whole new experience for the audience gathered at Taj, Bangalore on April 3rd, 2018.

Acme Experiences conceptualised and executed the event, where a 270 degree LED setup was designed to cover two stages. Main stage area was acquired for hosting of all the main events and the other one was converted into a bar setting for GQ Night After-Party. Interaction between the stages was conceived with an awe-inspiring fashion show and a bespoke launch of Ducati Fashion brand.

Inspired by the International fashion shows, the setup had a 56ft long ramp in the centre of the hall, connecting both the stages and the audience seated on either side. The inventory for the set up consisted of massive lighting, remarkable rigging of truss and huge numbers of technical and audio-visual elements. 400 intelligent lighting systems, 3500 sq ft. LED, 24k resolution of video content, 1200 rft of trussing, which was set up in a mere 36 hours time frame. 18 hours of artist rehearsals with all the visual and audio content with multiple set up’s going on parallel at the pre-function area was planned to perfection.

 

The event kick-started with an innovative tale of Flipkart growth recited through an LED interactive dance, followed by an LED set unveil AV which revealed the event graphic and home look. The hosts for the show were emcee Shibani Dandekar and Anuj Char. Rohan Joshi from AIB also performed a Stand Up Act. A quiz based on Flipkart and Fashion brands were conducted in the format of a Live Polling segment. Both the hosts Anuj and Shibani kept the crowd entertained throughout the event with their on-stage chemistry and fun fillers.

Anuj Char, host of the day, shares his experience "It was an honour being invited to host the Flipkart Fashion Conclave 2018. I have been associated with Flipkart and Acme in the past but this event was extra special because of the sheer passion and hard work that the entire team had put into making this event possible. Having a gorgeous co-host like Shibani was like the icing on the cake. She absolutely is a delight to work with and our on-stage chemistry showed how much fun we had together. The entire setup was a true extravaganza and it was an amazing experience hosting this prestigious event with such prominent names from the industry being a part of the audience. From a relaxed back-stage atmosphere to flawless execution to excellent hospitality, Acme took care of us artists extremely well. And as usual, it is always fun to meet the Flipkart team at all their events! Cheers to many more!"

 

The very same day of the event witnessed the launch of Ducati fashion, the exclusive brand available on Flipkart. The night line up marked the first edition of the Flipkart Fashion Customer Choice Awards (FFCCA) – a neutral award, chosen by Flipkart customers. An Oscar-themed award ceremony, customised AV’s were made for all the awardee brands with voice-overs.

The night ended with a glamorous GQ After Party with top designers and fashionistas from Bangalore and other cities joining the event, making it a memorable and unforgettable day. Leaving the audience mesmerised, the GQ After-Party started the ball rolling with a Laser man act followed by an enthralling Light and Sound show. Bangalore's most popular fusion rock band, Lagori got the audience to the dance floor, and some bold souls to even walk the ramp! 

The Exclusive Collective, a fashion show featuring Flipkart Fashion exclusive brand collections brought alive Acme’s selection strategy. The Exclusive Collective fashion show featured the various fashion brands of Flipkart – both men and women clothing. The models dazzled the ramp on the tune of Lagori band. 

Flipkart collaborated with ACME Experience Marketing Pvt. Ltd. to inspire and engage the fashion world to a resounding success at Fashion Conclave 2018.
