Myntra Sneaker Club Hosts its First Ever Pub Crawl in Mumbai

Myntra, one of India’s leading fashion and lifestyle platform launched its first ever pub crawl in Mumbai on October 27th, as a part of its recently launched Myntra Sneaker Club (MSC) to promote sneaker culture in India. MSC partnered with leading sneaker brands – Nike, Puma, Clarks and Pepsi to create a first of its kind unique initiative and bring together sneaker heads, fashionistas and celebrities together to promote their passion for sneakers.

Toast Events was given the responsibility to manage and execute the entire event from end-to-end. The brief was to bring out each partner brands core elements in their unique installations at their designated venues. The entire event had to be fun and engaging not only for the brand guests but also for the other guests at the venue.

So, to make the pub crawl more fun and entertaining Toast Events wrapped an entire bus with ‘Myntra Sneaker Club’ branding. The bus was given a full makeover even on the inside with tubes of colored lights along with a kickass sound system!

Each brands installation was set up at their designated venue to spread awareness about the brand, showcase their shoes and highlight Myntra Sneaker Club as a property and mark its first ever pub crawl in Mumbai.

The venues for the event were:

Monkey Bar – Clarks

Bonobo – Pepsi

antiSocial – Puma

Junkyard Café – Nike

Su Casa – Myntra Sneaker Club

For each brand, the agency created an unique and iconic shoe display & installations at the respective brand venues. At each brand’s venue Toast ideated and created unique engagement ideas to increase the brands connect amongst all the guests who were present at the venue during that night.

The Toast team managed everything right from selecting and booking of venue, food & beverage for each venue, management of all the 18 celebrities on the Myntra Pub Crawl bus, coordination with each of the 13 brands under the umbrella of Myntra Sneaker Club for the shoes which need to be displayed at their respective venues.

The bus was flagged off at 9:30 PM from Su Casa and drove the stars to four other popular pubs across the city namely - Monkey Bar, Bonobo, Antisocial and Junkyard Café where they could mingle with the crowd and enjoy the party. The pub crawl was culminated with an after party at Su Casa which was attended by Bollywood celebrities such as Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannah Bhatia to name a few.
