Not only has the past decade been the most remarkable in terms of achievements and events seen in the event industry of India but most importantly, through EEMA, the past decade has seen a transformation in the way we work together as an industry; “together” being the key ingredient. It marks the decade of the industry maturing, to look into the future, to channelize efforts and work in unison, using today as the trampoline to leapfrog into tomorrow with positivity. Companies are increasingly ready to skip short term profits for long term gains."
He added, “For me this has been the defining decade wherein we’ve emerged from the shadows of jugaad and “making it happen” to a world wherein we are able to boldly speak about women’s empowerment in the events industry, health and safety at events, talent development, training, education and skills development and above all else it’s the younger members that are moving forward to take charge. Truly, the event industry is ready for its place on centre stage.”
