Meet the 2nd Set of Jury Members of the WOW Awards Asia 2017

The WOW Awards 2017 is open for entries in 70 categories across 5 groups. The five groups of categories are MICE/Business Events, Experiential Marketing, Event Intellectual Properties, Experiential Celebrations and Experiential Management.
Set to take place from July 6 to 8, 2017 at New Delhi Aerocity, The WOW Awards and Convention Asia 2017 is Asia's largest recognition for excellence in the experiential industry.
The first 10 jury members of the WOW Awards Asia 2017 have already been announced. And now here’s the next 10:
1. Vikram Tanna

VP, Head of Advertising Sales and Business Head of Regional Clusters, Discovery Network Asia Pacific
Group (C) Event Intellectual Property
An industry veteran, Vikram Tanna has over two decades of experience spanning the broadcast, gaming and online industries. In his current role with Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, he heads advertising sales for 11 unique content channels.
Prior to Discovery, Vikram served as the Senior Vice President Star India, leading Product & Revenue strategy for three of the major channel clusters- Hindi Movies & Music and HSM Regional Channels (West Bengal & Maharashtra).
2. Siddharth Banerjee

Executive Vice President – Marketing, Vodafone India Ltd.
Group (B) Experiential Marketing
Siddharth Banerjee is an experienced consumer business leader across Telecom and FMCG for the past 17 years and is currently the Executive Vice President (EVP) - Marketing and Head of Brand, Insights, Media, Activation & Digital at Vodafone India.
At Vodafone India, he is responsible for leading the organization towards becoming a digital company which serves customers across mobility - enterprise and financial inclusion & m-commerce solutions and also ensuring that Vodafone remains a brand of choice & a lovemark for India.
3. Rajneesh Bhasin

Managing Director, Borges India Private Limited
Group (B) Experiential Marketing
Rajneesh Bhasin is the Managing Director of Borges India Private Limited; a fully owned subsidiary of Borges International Group. Rajneesh heads the India operations for Borges and is responsible for establishing it as a leading player in the Olive Oil Category. This he intends to do by building a strong pan India distribution network for Borges and supporting the same through brand launches, promotions, etc which will in turn help build consumer franchise for both the category and the brand.
4. Ayushman Chiranewala

Head of Marketing, Fastrack, Titan Company Limited
Group (B) Experiential Marketing
An Alumni of Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, Ayushman graduated with a Masters in Marketing and Finance.
In 2008, he joined Titan Company Limited and was responsible for area sales of brands such as Fastrack Watches and Eyewear, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss. In 2009, Ayushman then took on the role of Brand Manager at Sonata, India’s largest selling watch brand, where his role primarily focused on taking the Superfibre range of watches to its 1 millionth sale in year one. His roles at Sonata also ranged from planning & executing, developing communication strategy & brand proposition, to new product development.
5. Tusharr Kumar

Head-Marketing, Communication & PR, Ducati India Pvt. Ltd.
Group (B) Experiential Marketing
Tusharr Kumar is a passionate motorcyclist and currently heads Marketing, Communication and PR for Ducati India Pvt. Ltd.
A graduate from St. Xavier’s College Mumbai, before joining Ducati, Tusharr has seven years of experience across various sectors including Automobile, FMCG, Branded Entertainment and Live Events. While working at Parle Agro, Tusharr managed the company’s iconic brand’s Frooti and LMN. His interest for the independent music and the live entertainment scene took him to Only Much Louder Entertainment, we he worked on some of the largest experiential properties in the country and was responsible for Branded Entertainment solution, Live Events Ticketing, Marketing and PR.
6. Chhaya Momaya

Life Coach and Image Consultant
Group (D) Experiential Celebrations
Chhaya Momaya is a life coach, grooming and image consultant for high-end luxury brands. She has been working with corporates, industrialists, models, actors, airline crews, beauty pageant contestants and pop stars for grooming, etiquette and image makeovers over the past 26 years.
Her list of clients for Imaging include international brands such as Ulysse Nardin Watches, Christian Dior (Make-up), La Prairie Skin Care, Hummer Parfum, Agent Provocateur Parfum, Hugo Boss, YSL Perfume, Hastens Beds, Fornasetti – Italian Furniture, BMW, Judith Leiber, Volkswagen, Corneliani, Porsche design Poggenpohl Kitchens, Arola, Porsche design Blackberry etc.
7. Abhinav Sharma

Brand Manager, adidas Running, India
Group (B) Experiential Marketing
Abhinav Sharma is an avid runner and currently the Brand Manager for adidas Running, India. He has been in this role since April 2015. This is his second stint with adidas, he previously managed Market Activations, and Retail Marketing for adidas in New Delhi from 2013 to 2015. He has worked in Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, Titan Industries, SABMiller India in a career spanning 7 years.
In his current role, he is responsible for formulation of the multi-channel sell out strategy for the adidas Running silo and then executing the same. This includes Retail, MBO, e-com and Sports Specialty stores.
8. Sriram Gopalaswamy

Head - Commercial & Datacenter Group Marketing, Lenovo India
Group (A) MICE/Business Events
An accomplished marketing professional with over eleven years of experience in the High Tech Industry, he is currently responsible for leading Lenovo’s marketing to businesses – focused on strong presence and category leadership in the large corporate, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), Sriram is a graduate from National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE, Mumbai), and is an alumnus of INSEAD, France.
9. Rahul Akerkar

Star Chef / Restaurateur; Founder and Director, deGustibus Hospitality (Indigo, Indigo Deli, Tote )
Group (D) Experiential Celebrations
Among his many accolades Rahul Akerkar was featured in Asiaweek’s Survey of “Kitchen Gods” in 2001, and was 28 on San Pellegrino’s List of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2013. More recently, he won Chef of The Year at the Times Food Awards 2016, Mumbai.
He has been guest chef in several kitchens around the world, authored numerous articles, and frequently consults to the food and hospitality industry.
10. Fahad Samar

Columnist / Writer
Group (D) Experiential Celebrations
Fahad Samar is the bestselling author of Scandal Point and Flash Point, the first two novels in his Mumbai trilogy published by Harper Collins in 2014 and 2015.
Fahad is a well-known social commentator and has contributed columns regularly to the Mumbai Mirror, DNA and the Indian Express over the past ten years. He also writes on food, wine and travel for Upper Crust magazine. Fahad’s articles and essays have appeared in Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Conde Nast Traveller among other publications. He is also a film critic and presents Filmology with Fahad Samar on Radio One 94.3FM.
