Cover Story, a fashion retailer of women’s clothing and accessories, with the style lab headquartered in London, is a brand that provides fresh and fast fashion, while innovatively integrating global designs in an Indian context. The Cover Story essence is resolutely feminine, classy and experimental. It has created its own language of style and draws a subtle difference between modernity and androgyny, with stylish pieces and sharp details. The collection addresses the sartorial needs of the contemporary woman who is a citizen of the world.

Presenting the first experiential showcase for the media and guests, Cover Story awarded Toast Events the mandate to design and execute the event. The chic soiree was hosted at The Lodhi Hotel, Delhi over cocktails and canapés on November 23, 2016. Adding to the glam quotient of the evening was Bollywood actress Disha Patani in a lovely black tiered lace dress from the Historical Romance story, a key part of the AW’16 collection.

Cover Story by Future Style Lab, a subsidiary of the Future Group, hosted a glamorous evening to celebrate their Autumn-Winter ’16 Time Traveller Collection. Toast Events in creative collaboration with the brand created an experiential showcase presenting showcase pieces from the collection in an Art Gallery experience

The fantastically trendy event was set up around the theme of Alice in Wonderland. From the floral turf backdrop at the entrance to the miniature Mad Hatter cupcakes to the quirky themed cocktails, every element symbolized the mystical Wonderland. The centre piece for the evening was a simple yet stylish installation showcasing the Time Traveller collection.

Each story in the collection showcased at the event referred to a specific period in time and was designed to discover and explore one’s fashion identity. Luxurious and contemporary designs make the collection versatile enough to be worn on different occasions during the day or the night by the modern woman. The collection draws inspiration from nine unique storylines, each designed keeping form, fabric and fit in mind.
