Addressing the long-standing demand of activation venues, agencies and brands to come together and explore the growth opportunities in experiential marketing, Umbrella Aegis announced the launch of The Activation Venue Forum – TAVF.

Held on September 13, TAVF was a one-day event at The St Regis Mumbai. The event started at 10:30 am and had speakers from various segments of the industry to speak about the transformation of experiential marketing, their case studies, and experiences. It was then followed by a panel discussion and TAVF magazine launch. TAVF was supported by Event & Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) and Worldline e-payment services was the associate sponsor.

Harindra Singh, Managing Director, Percept and Sr. Vice President EEMA was the keynote speaker of the event. The forum highlighted the evolution of experiential marketing and how important innovations are to take experiential industry on a boom. Hearing various case studies from prominent speakers at the event, marketing professionals realised the need to come together and join hands for better brand activations each coming year.

The event had recognition for venues across India to value their efforts in activations and innovations. More than 40 malls received awards for their tremendous work in BTL activations.

Discussing path-breaking ideas that drive growth will be easier than ever before through this annual forum.” said Umbrella Aegis founder and the mastermind of TAVF, Suresh Kumar Kurapaty. “This forum has brought all three forces together for seamless collaboration that has encouraged brands to leverage the potential of experiential marketing. This is how we will drive ultimate and enriching experiences for the consumers”, he concluded.

Sushma Gaikwad, Vice President - West, EEMA, and Director, Ice Global said TAVF is set to develop into a robust platform for idea exchange as it provides an opportunity for brands, venues and agencies to interact and provide valuable insight on strategies adopted and best practices implemented in the industry.  As the industry evolves, the lines begin to disappear and EEMA is extremely happy to support TAVF in its endeavour for collaboration.
