The run advanced towards Wilson College and concluded back at the start line. Around 1200 enthusiastic runners from all parts of Mumbai participated in the run to spread the message of fitness and encourage Mumbaikars to register for the upcoming Half Marathon.

A warm-up Zumba session lead by fitness and Zumba expert Philip was also conducted before the Promo Run. Participants received necessary tips on running during the monsoon and how to remain fit, along with some Zumba training.

The Promo Run will now be held in Goa on May 21, 2016 and Pune May 28, 2016, to promote running culture in Mumbai’s neighbouring cities. The Promo Run also aims to pass on the fitness mantra and call in entries for inaugural Mumbai Half Marathon scheduled to be held on Aug 21, 2016.
