Last weekend, sports equipment brand Reebok placed a unique outdoor advertisement right in the middle of a busy Stockholm street. Locked see-through shelves displayed the new Reebok ZPump 2.0 Sneakers, along with the tagline - “Are you fast enough for the ZPump 2.0?” The ad is equipped with a built-in speed cam and tracking technology to measure a pedestrian’s pace. Anyone who can run past it, faster than 17 kms/hour, could unlock a pair of brand new sneakers.
Reebok’s official Youtube channel states, “For us, running is about more than treadmills and racetracks. It’s a vital part of life. So what better place to launch the ZPump 2.0, than right in the middle of the busiest street in Stockholm?” The video has gathered over 2 lakh views in four days.

AdWeek reports that ad agency Animal devised this stunt for Reebok and quotes its creative Markus Schramm; “We really like the idea of taking a classic billboard and turning it into something disruptive and unique. This gives customers an instant experience, and as a brand, we're able to provide something of real value."
