Walk of Hope is a journey by foot spanning over 500 days organised by the Manav Ekta Mission. The march led by Sri M, seeks a significantly restored nation—fit enough to be bequeathed to our future generations. Walk of Hope was flagged off on Jan 12 2015, the birth anniversary of a great prophet of interfaith harmony, Swami Vivekananda. Starting from the Gandhi Memorial Mandapam in Kanyakumari, covering 11 states and concluding in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, this initiative aims to reach out to 10 million fellow Indians.

The Delhi leg (Feb 17 - March 3) of the 16-month long event will see the famed yogi holding walks, visiting religious places of various faiths, delivering talks, and interacting with the public besides constitutional authorities such as the President of India and the Chief Minister of Delhi.
Cultural evenings will feature music concerts—by Manav Ekta Band (IIT Feb 18), Hindustani vocalist Kalapini Komkali (IIC, Feb 22) and choral music (Sacred Heart Cathedral, Feb 28), besides Kathak dance (IIT, Feb 18) and a play ‘Amir Khusro’ (India Islamic Centre, Feb 29).
