Wow Events Manages First GST Eco-System Development Workshop

Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) conducted a workshop on GST Eco-System development at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru on Feb 5 with the goal of helping start-ups use its APIs to connect to the GST system. Managed by Wow Events, the workshop was inaugurated by Navin Kumar, the Chairman of GSTN. A slew of top GSTN executives, including its CEO Prakash Kumar were also present. The workshop received an overwhelming response from IT Start-ups, Accounting, and Payment Solution firms, with around 175 people in attendance. GSTN aims to conduct similar workshops in other parts of the country in near future.

Experts who attended were Pramod Varma (Chief Architect, UIDAI); Sharad Sharma (Start-up Evangelist) and Sanjay Jain (former Chief Product Officer of Aadhar) - they were the key speakers for the workshop.

Wow Events won the mandate to manage the workshop in a multi-agency pitch process. All creatives were provided by the client. On managing the workshop, Sachin Talwar, Director, Wow Events said, “Everything was professionally planned and executed. We are proud to have been associated with GSTN to execute the 1st workshop on GST Eco-System Development.”

GSTN is a Section 25 (not for profit), non-Government, private limited company. The Company has been set up primarily to provide IT infrastructure and services to the Central and State Governments, tax payers and other stakeholders for implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
