From Jan 11-15 Jan, Toast Events executed trade shows and an Awards Night for brands Reebok and Adidas. The event at Hotel Leela, Gurgaon was attended by over 1000 people including traders, store staff, international delegates and employees. The event started on Jan 11 with Adidas Traders’ meet for 2 days, followed by the Torch Bearer Awards & Gala Night for both the brands, before Reebok traders joined in for a 2-day meet. Brand presentations, product line discussions and sales analysis of different brands/products and feedback from the traders is what was mainly discussed during this 5-day event.  A few performances and fashion shows planned in between different category presentations made it an interesting format to showcase different collections to the traders during the meet.

The agency was selected to manage these events through multiple agency pitches by both brands looking for an agency to plan and execute their trade shows including the Awards Night.

Keeping both brands’ positioning and requirements, a central stage was conceptualized which resonated with the Delta logo of Reebok and 3 Stripes of Adidas. Screens were set up above the stage. In addition, watch out softwares were installed for a 3 sided LED screen set up to simultaneously play different content on all the screens at different times.

At the Gala Dinner, a few traders, store staff and employees were appreciated for their performance last season. Torch bearer awards were presented to them by the Senior Management team for their leadership qualities and exceptional work in their respective roles. Fanfare Music, thematic graphics on screen and a few thematic props added more glamour and opulence to the venue.

Commenting on event, Wilson D Souza, Production Lead, Toast Events said, “The challenge was to plan layouts for both the brands considering that we had to showcase and fit in their retail fixtures of each category within the space we have had and most importantly, their position in the hall. Detailed meetings with the Hotel, Category Managers and the Creative team helped us arrive to a solution. All in all, it was a great event with the show having a great set of performances in between to keep everyone on their toes and making this event a lot more interactive and participative than previous versions. The brands loved the concept and enjoyed the trade show with everyone seated around being so participative, bringing the entire concept alive with content on all 3 side screens. “
