Located right on Central Park’s doorstep, The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, New York, contains 189 rooms/suites, and a host of rooms for conferences, meetings and events. 

The Pierre is ideal for hosting a range of events, and is known for having hosted the First Ladies’ Luncheon, held every year over the UNGA to celebrate the coming together of the world’s first ladies and to bring recognition to prominent women in business.

The hotel offers 25 Superior rooms; 29 Classic Rooms; 12 Deluxe Rooms; 52 City View rooms; 15 Park View rooms; 7 Signature Park View rooms; 12 Executive Suites; 22 City View Suites; 4 Premier Suites; 3 2-Bedroom Grand Suites; 2 2-Bedroom Deluxe Grand Suites; 4 Signature Grand Suites; and 1 Presidential Suite. 

In-room facilities include 24-hour room service, twice daily housekeeping, complimentary local newspapers, Wi-Fi, smoking & non-smoking rooms, en-suite spa treatments, a mini-bar, Molton Brown Amenities, plush bathrobes and slippers, a Turkish marble bathroom, a 40” flat screen TV, a safe, Bose speakers, and a DVD player. 

Other services include a dedicated Guest Relations team, a complimentary Jaguar house car, complimentary morning coffee and pastries, a fitness centre, and a business centre.

Event Inventory

With 20,000 square-feet of space, including two ornately detailed ballrooms, six additional distinctive rooms, and a state-of-the-art boardroom.

The Pierre can accommodate events of any scale, from an executive board meeting to a banquet of 800 people. The rooms offer the exclusivity of a private entrance, as well as unique features such as trompe l’oeil murals or views of Central Park.

Rooms include the Grand Ballroom for 800-1500 people (depending on whether the event is a banquet or reception); Garden Foyer for 100-400 people; Regency for 150-250 people; Cotillion for 350-500 people; Wedgwood for 200-300 people; Salon for 50-85 people; the Madison Boardroom; Park for 60-75 people; and Lexington for 60-75 people.

The Pierre offers state-of-the-art technology, high-speed Internet, both wired and wireless, and simple, elegant décor. In-house technical support for MICE events includes video conferencing capabilities, Wi-Fi, and interpretation services.
