RW Promotions recently conducted a 2-week long activation in 5 cities in U.P and Bihar as part of ABP News’ ‘Ganga ki Saugandh’ campaign. This programme is aimed at generating awareness and cleaning up the Ganga River.
The effort witnessed a canter activity followed by on-ground debate on the state of the river and the measures that can help keep it clean. A skit was also performed, demonstrating the problem and discussing solutions. People were engaged through radio and were invited to call up a toll free number.
Talking about the event and the agency’s relationship with ABP News, Venkatesh Srinivasan, Marketing Director, RW Promotions said, “This activation where we get people to take an oath that they’ll keep the Ganga River clean is something that ABP has been doing for the last 5 years. We have partnered with them to execute the campaign ever since it first started. This particular activation took place over 2 weeks and was a genuine effort to really address this issue. The response was extremely positive and saw over a lakh ‘missed calls’ come in to show concern for the cause”.
