PTC Punjabi Vivel Miss Punjabi 2010 concludes on Oct 29

In a star-studded grand finale event held at the PAP Ground in Jalandhar, PTC Punjabi announced and felicitated the winners of its Beauty and Talent Pageant, Vivel Miss PTC Punjabi 2010. The event was telecast LIVE on PTC Punjabi. Harbhajan Maan, Archana Puran Singh, Parmeet Sethi, Rajiee Shinde and Sarabjeet Cheema judged the pageant.
The event hosted performances by Punjabi artists, like, Sarabjeet Cheema, Lehmber Hussainpuri, Saleem, Gippy Grewal and Shera Jasvir. Satinder Satti anchored the show.
Commenting on the pageant, Rajiee M. Shinde, said, "This is the third year that PTC is conducting this pageant, which has over the years become the most coveted title for Punjabi women. At each stage, the selection of contestants was closely monitored by the channel and qualified judges. During the four-month exercise , each contestant is groomed and selected and showcased to the world by the medium of the channel."
After two successful seasons of the pageant, the 2010 edition of the began in mid July this year and concluded on October 29, 2010. Thousands of participants are said to have auditioned at venues spread across 12 cities in Punjab and Delhi.
The event was promoted through television, print, online and on-ground mediums.
The grand finale was held at the PAP Ground in Jalandhar.
