DNA Ya! organises Art Hunt for children across 80 Schools in Mumbai

DNA Ya! declared forty winners of the Art Hunt competition on July 10. The competition was aimed at seeking the brightest and most creative young artists at the primary and secondary level. The marketing team of DNA Ya! is managing the event.
The activity commenced two months ago wherein the art competition was taken to over 80 schools in Mumbai. Students of primary and secondary sections were allowed to participate in the preliminary round. Around 30000 children took part in the competition of which 200 children were chosen to compete in the finals.
Anupama Jain, Head Marketing and Events, DNA Ya!, said, "We conducted the preliminary rounds at the school premises and then 200 students were chosen by our panel of judges. They further competed at in a second round of competition on July 10 at the Mayfair Banquets where 40 students were shortlisted to undergo training provided by the panelists. Our panelist teams include Brinda Miller, Arzan Khambhatta, Vikram Bawa, Gallerist Tarana of Art and Soul and Anna Haydon of Family India Foundation (NGO)."
From September 14- 20 there will be an exhibition, which will carry the work of these forty children in Mumbai at the Art and Soul Gallery. The pieces will also be auctioned off for charity.
On the objective of the property, Jain, added, "This is the first year we have organised the Art Hunt competition. We plan to develop this as an annual property. In future we are considering holding the Art Hunt in Bengaluru, Jaipur and Pune. We are also in talks with Singapore Airlines to partner the event."
Over 30,000 children participated at the event and 40 winners were chosen who will showcase their work in an exhibition in September.
