Bloomberg UTV unveils caravan to engage SMEs

Bloomberg UTV, along with Dell and Intel, announced the launch of an initiative titled ‘Forum SME - Helping Entrepreneurs Take Their Own Path' in Delhi on November 25. With this outreach, Bloomberg UTV will engage SMEs across multiple verticals to discuss relevant issues and address their queries.
To launch the initiative, Bloomberg UTV brought together industry veterans like Som Mittal; President Nasscom; Jayesh Kotak, Vice President - Product Marketing Dlink; and P. Krishna Kumar, Director Marketing - CSMB, Dell India as the panelists who encouraged the SMEs and addressed their queries. The chief guest of the event, Som Mittal unveiled the SME Caravan, which commences on November 25 in New Delhi.
The Forum will be divided into two phases: Transformer Series and the Caravan Series. The Transformer Series will focus on the theme ‘Take your own path' where SMEs will be privy to inspiring stories of entrepreneurs who have achieved great heights of success. Entrepreneurs like Anupam Mittal, Shaadi.com; Neeraj Roy, Hungama.com; P Kishore, Everonn Systems; Satya Narayanan, Career Launcher; Subrahmanyam (Subbu) Yadavalli, CoOptions and Vishvas Chitale, Chitale Dairy will share their experiences in a special 6 part series on Bloomberg UTV.
The Caravan Series will be an on-ground activation where an entourage comprising pf Technology, Banking and HR experts, amongst others will travel to Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore and Chennai. This caravan will visit some of the renowned SME hubs in the respective cities for a period of two days, culminating with a panel discussion and confluence on the concluding day.

In 2009, Bloomberg UTV partnered Dell's international campaign ‘Take your Own Path' and created a nationwide SME challenge. The resulting ten winners were featured in a special series on the channel. A panel discussion was also organized across 12 cities in the country. The success and accomplishments of ‘Take your own path 2009-2010' are being taken forward this year with the launch of ‘Forum SME - Helping Entrepreneurs Take their own path'.
