‘Eventful India Photography Awards’ invites entries from agencies

Propaganda Media and Entertainment is organising the 'Eventful India Photography Awards' which will take place on March 5. The event aims to "promote India as the world's most exotic experiential destination", and it invites professional photographers, advertising agencies, event agencies, PR agencies, and amateurs to submit their ‘eventful India moments' and win prizes worth Rs. 45 lakhs. Winners will be declared and felicitated at a ceremony in New Delhi on March 5.


Gaurav Garg, President - Strategic Consulting, Propaganda Media and Entertainment commented, "We want submissions from agencies which showcase magical experiences which will be shared with the media. It can be local or international in nature and from both small and big agencies. So far we have 200 registrations already."


The event is a pre-launch initiative of the ‘Eventful India' Campaign and invites nominations across 4 categories and 16 themes. Entries are free and can be submitted online at www.eventfulindia.in from February 11 to February 25.


The jury panel includes photographers Sephi Bergerson and Ashok Salian, advertising gurus like Piyush Pandey (O&M), publishers like Pramod Kapoor (Roli Books) and Rohinton Mehta (Smart Photography), editors and photo editors like Vardhan Kondvikar (Lonely Planet India) and Neeraj Paul (The Times of India), senior IAS officers like Amitabh Kant (Founder of Incredible India), and principle secretaries of Gujarat Tourism and Kerala Tourism.


The organisers invite event agencies to participate along with advertising and PR firms.
