EG! Inorbit Mall
From Christmas trees to baubles, reindeers to elf houses, lights to gifts, EG!, an experiential art and marketing communications brand created all things Christmassy in its décor roll across malls during the festive season. With a range of family attractions and activities, the agency created these moods at Oberoi Mall Mumbai, Inorbit malls, Forum Mall Bangalore and Growel’s 101 Mall Mumbai.
The gigantic Elf shoe house along with the de-rigueur Christmas tree at Oberoi Mall became a major photo point for shoppers. In addition to this, the mall ran a social media contest, giving shoppers a chance to win gifts. In addition to managing the interiors of the mall, EG! also did up the façade of the mall, where post sunset, ornament-shaped lights would turn on.
At Forum Mall in Bangalore, shoppers could actually walk through the 35 ft Christmas tree. Also set up at the mall was a unique installation, a walkway Bauble with a diameter of 15 ft that people could walk through. The walkway was accompanied by gleaming reindeers standing at a height of 17 feet.
At Growel’s 101 Mall, the magic began at the entrance with a glittering Christmas bauble enveloped by sparkling lights. A special Treat House installation, shaped as everyone’s favourite dessert was set up with a huge candy shaped chariot in which kids could sit. A fun activity called ‘Spin the Candy’ was organised here. And the most eye-catching installations here was a Santa-headed Christmas tree standing at 28 feet.
For the Inorbit Malls located at Vashi, Navi Mumbai and Malad, EG! created unique hangings and baubles, apart from eye-catching gift boxes and an 18 foot tall Christmas tree.
On delivering these experiences, Vijay Dewan, Chief Creative Guardian, EG! said, “Every year our endeavour remains to delight several lakhs of shoppers by creating innovative and picturesque mall décor, while focussing to maintain the aesthetics of Christmas while taking it to a new level. So, this year we have taken the quintessential Christmas elements and given them a different treatment by creating several innovative and experiential forms.”
The experiential art and marketing communications brand set up installations, and managed the festive décor and activities at malls including Oberoi, Inorbit, Forum and Growel's 101 Malls.
