Harshad Chavan Cream Events Edelman
Harshad Chavan set up Cream Events on September 25, 2008, shortly after leaving the corporate world and also trying out a few stints with established event companies. Chavan's creativity was only truly exploited in setting up his own niche experiential marketing outfit, catering to lifestyle and luxury brands. And true to its style, the agency has helped launch over 250 brands in its 7 years of existence.
On November 26, 2012
Edelman announced its acquisition of Cream Events and Chavan remained the Managing Director of the newly acquired company. Cream Events remained an independent functioning entity and brand under the Edelman umbrella, while Chavan continued to grow the brand and company year on year.
Chavan has now decided to move on from his role of Managing Director of Cream Events, with March 10, 2015 being his last working day. When contacted he revealed no future plans, but simply mentioned he'd be taking some time off to vacation, spend quality time with the family and catch up with friends.
Chavan founded Cream Events, a niche experiential marketing company in 2008, which Edelman then acquired in 2012.
