IPHA hosts the 56th All India Annual Conference

Executive Events managed the 56th All India Annual Conference for The Indian Public Health Association (IPHA), which aims at the promotion and advancement of public health and allied sciences in India, and the protection and promotion of the health of the people. The conference was held at the IMA House, Kochi from Feb. 10 to 12.
The theme of the conference was ‘Public Health Priorities for the 12th plan' and offered paper presentations, symposiums, lectures and posters to the attending delegates. Executive Events managed the registration, branding, fabrication, hall and venue management, venue coordination, entertainment, exhibitions, and travel and accommodation for the conference for IPHA.
Commenting on how the agency was selected to manage the conference, Raju Kannampuzha, Managing Director, Executive Events said: "This conference was awarded to us based on our successful execution of the various medical conferences that we have organised in Kerala. This year, we had almost a 25 per cent higher number of delegates attending the event when compared to last year."
IPHA brought together professional minds in India and the SAARC countries to discuss important issues, exchange ideas and share information. This conference targeted medical professionals in the field of public health and witnessed more than 1,000 delegates attending the event. A banquet was also arranged at the Bolgatty Palace in Kochi, with various traditional cultural entertainment programmes.
The venue was equipped with four parallel session halls, separate area for exhibitions and poster displays.
