Pulp Strategy and Event Crafter both made a debut as entrants to the WOW Awards 2012, and both bagged a gold award each. Event Crafter bagged a gold in the On-ground promotion of the year for Sales Volume for their Airtel Lakshya campaign. Pulp Strategy, a new entrant and recently formed agency, bagged a gold in the Contact Program of the year for 'Learn with Yahoo - New to Net campaign'. Pulp Strategy also bagged a silver in the On-ground Promotion of the year for Sales Volume for 'More Internet per Hour with Chrome by Google'.
The DDB Mudra Group bagged both the silver and bronze in the Small Budget on-ground promotion of the year, for UTV Bindass Copy Kar and Uninor Rush of Blood respectively.
Other debutant winners in the fourth edition of the WOW Awards were TATA Steel, who won two bronzes, one in the On-ground promotion of the year for Brand Awareness for 'Strengthening the brand presence in relevant geographies' and in the On-ground promotion of the year for Sales Volume for their 'Innovative promotional scheme in eastern region'.
Sakal Media Group debuted with a silver win in the On-ground promotion of the year for Brand Awareness for the 'Sakal Balmitra Chitrakala Spardha'.
Other winners in the Contact Program of the year category included Everything Goes! Communications for 'Inorbit Mall - Aikya', and Percept Limited for 'Nerolac Passport Program', both bagging silver awards; and Krayon - Edumedia bagging a bronze for 'YouTube Space Lab'.
The Gitanjali WOW Awards 2012, powered by Idea and co-sponsored by Wings Group of Companies and Giftyaar.com, culminated on April 26 at Bhavan's College Ground in Andheri, Mumbai.
