The Middle East EVENT Show and EVENT Awards 2012 gears up to return

In the wake of the success of its last edition, the Middle East EVENT Show will return to Dubai from May 1 to May 3, 2012, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organised by Informa Exhibitions and co-located with PALME Middle East, the Middle East EVENT Show is an opportunity for those involved in the meeting, incentives, conferences, events or entertainment industries to showcase their products and services, and network with a dedicated audience of event management and procurement professionals in the Middle East.


Feedback about the 2011 edition of the event indicated that 100 per cent of the exhibitors would recommend exhibiting at the event and that the Middle East EVENT Show would become an important part of their marketing strategy in the region.


This edition of the event promises an even greater reach to a highly targeted audience comprising of top ranking government officials and private sector organisations as well as key personnel who influence their procurement decisions. Exhibitors at this event will get to meet spread-out buying teams at one time, generate leads, build and reposition one's brand, increase awareness and generate publicity, launch new products in existing markets, explore new markets, etc. From an executive management perspective, this event will provide a platform to keep up with industry trends, meet key clients and business partners, and profitably build the business.


Those who are expected to have an exhibit at the show will include event management agencies; conference organisers; exhibition organisers; concert and event promoters; marketing, PR and sales agencies; hospitality; corporate marketing and communications professionals; associations; government; destination management companies; live communications agencies; and the media.


In association with the Middle East EVENT Show 2012, the Middle East EVENT Awards 2012 will take place on May 2, 2012, during a gala dinner at the Sheikh Rashid Hall in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. These annual awards, in its fifth edition, rewards outstanding achievements within the Middle East events industry. The awards will be handed out across 21 categories, out of which five have been newly introduced. The new categories are Best Event - On a Budget, Best Special Event, Supplier of the Year - Excellence in Technical Delivery, Innovative Supplier of the Year, and Employer of the Year. All entries will be judged by a panel made up of internationally and regionally recognised and respected judges from a variety of industry sectors and disciplines.


It is an opportunity for those involved in the MICE, events or entertainment industries to showcase their services.
