Commenting on the launch, Anil Kapur, Vice President - Sales (CVBU), Tata Motors said: "Tata Motors has always been at the forefront in revolutionizing passenger transportation in the commercial vehicle segment. With the introduction of the Tata Divo and the Tata Starbus Ultra, the company will more comprehensively address the burgeoning needs of public transportation."
The launch event utilized watchout technology and 3D animation to showcase the features of both vehicles. Targeted towards the dealers and the tour operators in Kolkata, the event engaged around 400 people.
"QED has been our executing agency for various events and launches. They were selected through a pitch process," Vineet Khanna, Marketing Manager - Buses, Tata Motors said. He added: "We plan to launch and promote the vehicles in other small cities."
Shedding some light on the association with Tata Motors, Ashutosh Ahluwalia, Director, QED Productions said: "We executed the launch for these vehicles in Delhi in December 2011 and in Mumbai in the month of March. We were chosen from among other agencies through a multi-agency pitch."
