These road shows will be targeted at suppliers, South African representatives and travel agents and will focus on various products including travel destinations and adventure spots in South Africa. They are scheduled to take place on Sept. 3 at Trident, Mumbai; on Sept. 4 at The Pride, Ahmedabad; on Sept. 5 at The Hyatt Regency in New Delhi; and on Sept. 6 at The Oberoi in Kolkata.
Speaking about the road shows, Hanneli Slabber, Country Head, South African Tourism, India said: "India is a key market for us and the road shows provide the right opportunity for trade partners from India and South Africa to interact with each other. This September, we will visit two new cities - Kolkata and Ahmedabad - for our road show. There is immense potential in these two geographies and hence, we decided to tap these two markets, apart from Mumbai and New Delhi. The registration procedure has already begun and we have received a very encouraging response from our South African trade partners."
While the previous set of road shows took place in February in five cities with 62 suppliers and 135 South African representatives, this second leg will be smaller, in order to project more focus on the products and traders and to allow the participants a chance to get more better information and interact more.
