Following a brief introductory speech, Warren D'Souza, Managing Director, SOUND.COM, distributed certificates of recognition to employees of the company, or the ‘Jedi Knights of SOUND.COM', and felicitated some of the senior most ‘Decadians of SOUND.COM'. The company also knighted some of the outstanding employees with lightsabers and trophies, giving them the title of Jedi Master of SOUND.COM. The ceremony also felicitated vendors, distributors and partners who have had a long-running association with Sound.Com.

Some of the vendors, distributors and other partners felicitated at the event included Harman International India Pvt. Ltd., Sennheiser India, Sun Group, Rapport Global Events, Showtime Events, Audio Wizards, Cinetekk, Electronic Emporium, OnStage, Premier Industrial Importers, Rivera International, and Vardhaman Megastores, among many others.

Commenting on the event, D'Souza said: "We plan to make this an annual event. We invited a few close people for this one and it is more of a teaser. We expect this annual property to get much bigger in the coming editions." Speaking about scheduling the event within close proximity of the PALM Expo, D'Souza clarified that the event had nothing to do with the expo and that it was just a matter of convenience since most vendors and distributors would be in the city in and around the time of the expo.
