Radio One organises One Delhi One Music to spread the spirit of music
Fri 08 April 2011
Following 'One India, One Music', 94.3 Radio One organised a musical extravaganza through ‘One Delhi One Music' at Siri Fort Auditorium on April 6. Bollywood singer Mohit Chauhan, of ‘Masakali' fame, gave the maiden performance of "One Delhi One Music" where he wooed the audience with his voice, compositions and music. The music gala included some of his popular songs like ‘Tum se hi', ‘Masakali' and even a few of his unheard original compositions.

This initiative by Radio One aims at promoting multi-genre music by giving artists a platform to amplify their relationship with their fans. Speaking about the initiative, Mohit Chauhan said, "It is a great step taken by Radio One to bring to the table those genres of music which are not promoted through music videos. Apart from helping artists build a connect with their audience, this initiative will also cater to the diverse music tastes that our audience has."

With the success of ‘Radio One - One Delhi One Music' on air, the music channel took the property on-ground in January. Radio One is now furthering the cause by making this a monthly event for those music lovers who do not get to witness good live musical performances very often. These on-ground activities/concerts would include events of mass reach and promotion like Shankar, Ehsaan & Loy and Ghulam ali.
