All the regulatory processes and approvals for the academy are in place for commencement of the academic year from June. In addition, Rachnoutsav Events claimed that there is no academy in the whole of South Asia that provides a professional training in wedding management and that is what differentiates them from the existing academies. Furthermore 70 per cent of the courses will include more practical on-ground training including production, fabrication, management and execution.
The academy will offer a professional foundation course in event management for under graduates, advanced masters in event management for post graduates and professionals, and advanced masters in wedding planning and designing for minimum graduates. The academy will provide a certificate from Rachnoutsav Events Academy and an international affiliate college certificate for the graduates of their courses. The agency is in conversation with various colleges and is expecting a response in the first week of February.
Furthermore, Rachnoutsav Events Academy expects participating admissions of at least 140 students from the Indian subcontinent and the Sub Saharan region. Rachnoutsav Events is promoting the academy pan India through print and social media, apart from PR publicity and hoardings. In the next three months, it aims to promote themselves through magazines too.
Speaking about the initiative, Rakhi Kankaria, Founder, Rachnoutsav Events said: "We intend to develop a program for both event management and wedding planning in collaboration with a reputable international event academy. The curriculum is being developed keeping in mind the domestic cultural needs, international safety standards and portability of the workforce to suit global demands."
