Speaking at the AGM, Kashyap said that the relevance of RMAI has gone up significantly because the rural market has emerged as the single largest segment of the Indian market. He stressed that the association will initiate a drive to increase the corporate membership from 54 at present to 75 by the end of the year. RMAI also proposes to set up an ethics committee to look after the welfare of field workers in the industry.
