Nivea, the official face care partner for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), felicitated the winner of the Nivea 'Meet and Greet' contest in Chennai at the ITC Park Sheraton, on April 16. The event was managed by Showhouse Events.
The contest was conducted over a period of one month across the nation, wherein consumers had to purchase any Nivea For Men Advanced Whitening Moisturizer pack, then register themselves for the grand prize, and collect points by sending SMS to a short code.
About 1,500 people registered for the contest and each week top scorers were awarded with CSK merchandise, VVIP tickets to the finals and semi-finals. In all, 20 top scorers were awarded various gifts. On April 16, the grand winner of the contest Arun Parmar was felicitated and given a chance to meet MS Dhoni, Stephen Flemming and Mathew Hayden of the CSK team. Parmar scored over 5,000 points.
The promotions for the contest were done through Cafe Coffee Day and Food Bazaar outlets.
Commenting on Nivea's association with CSK for the third season of DLF IPL, Kai Boris Bendix, Managing Director, Nivea India, said, "Nivea for Men has been recognised as the product of the year, and CSK has been rated as this year's 'Most Valuable Team' in IPL, with a brand value of $ 48.4 million.
