EXUN Exhibition Unlimited, an agency involved in the promotion of diverse Indian art and culture forms in the country, is organizing the tenth edition of its annual trade fair titled ‘Lifestyle Connoisseur'. The exhibition, which provides entrepreneurs, manufacturers and retailers of clothing and fashion accessories with a platform to promote their businesses, will be held on August 2 and 3 at India Islamic Cultural Centre in New Delhi. Participants from Delhi, Haryana, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata and Pakistan are expected to display their products at this venue.

The ‘Lifestyle Connoisseur' is held mainly to project and dissipate the strength of Indian art forms - both contemporary and ethnic. It will see exhibitors display a plethora of products including arts and crafts, contemporary and ethnic apparel, accessories, furnishings, handicrafts, gifts and novelties. In the past, the event has been inaugurated by the likes of Ashish Makhija, President, Rotary Club of New Delhi; Safdar Khan, Chairman, Delhi Minorities Commission; hockey player Zafar Iqbal and Odissi dancer Anita Babu. This year, cricketer and commentator Atul Wassan is expected to flag off the event.

The organizers claim to design their fair in a way that each year visitors are able to view different offerings. The fair aims to attract people from both the cultural and economic strata of society and is thus targeted at boutique owners, fashion professionals, merchandisers, corporate buyers, retailers, media and the general public.

Speaking about the challenges involved in event execution, Vijay Lakshmi, Team Member, EXUN Exhibition Unlimited, said: "We do face a lot of challenges with regard to our exhibitions, and have to deal with a lot of uncertainty. Since we have an assortment of elite products under one roof, we play a media-based role in trying to bring the right visitors to our exhibitions. Good planning and strategy is required to make the event a success."

When asked about the future plans for the event, Vijay Lakshmi said: "We are already promoting remote area weavers from Bihar, Chanderi, Jaipur and Lucknow to exhibit their products at our exhibitions. Our aim is to cut out the middlemen benefits and give these craftsmen the right prices. In the future, we will continue to serve craftsmen and weavers through our exhibitions so as to give them support to grow." The agency has planned for extensive promotion for this event via newspapers, invitation cards, direct mailers, electronic media, SMSs and so on.

EXUN Exhibition Unlimited, the event organizer, aims to promote young entrepreneurs via this annual fair.
