The flash mob was part of a campaign by six Wilson College students as part of their paper on Contemporary Issues. The campaign focuses on issues relating to senior citizens and the main area of focus in the campaign was intergenerational bonding.
The flash mob also marks the end of High Street Phoenix's month-long shopping bonanza ‘Shop & Win', where prizes were gifted to shoppers on purchases worth Rs. 5000 and more. The announcement of the winner of the grand bumper prize - a new Mercedes Benz - was done on Jan. 4. The winners of a free holiday trip for a family of four to Disneyland Hong Kong and diamond jewellery from Lifestyle were also announced the same evening.
