Commenting on this occasion, Rajesh Ranjan, Station Director - Delhi, 94.3 Radio One said: "One Delhi One Music is a platform to showcase the sheer diversity of music we have in the country. We're fortunate enough to have audiences in Delhi that are open to these diverse genres of music. After the plaudits that we earned for the Mohit Chauhan, Gurdass Mann and Kunal Ganjawala concerts, we thought we would have a more classical concert and thus, the thought of organising a concert with the Wadali Brothers on the occasion of Eid was born."
Rahul Chaudhuri, General Manager - North, Fountainhead Promotions & Events states: "It was a pleasure to be a part of Radio One's initiative. Through the initiative, they organise live concerts every month in Delhi. This is the first time Fountainhead has associated with Radio One."
During the event, the Wadali Brothers belted out ghazals, gurbani, khafi and bhajans amid the engaging chords of the harmonium and tabla. The event was attended by over 1,800 people.
