Executive Events was roped in to handle the hall and venue management, venue coordination and trade fair management for NIC. The conference targeted cardiologists from around the world and witnessed about 1,000 attendees. In addition, there were various pharmaceutical companies which displayed their products and services at the trade fair organized by NIC.

This was the first paperless conference to be held in Kerala and included scientific programs that ran parallel in four halls. The case studies presented at the programs were telecast live by the media.

Commenting on how Executive Events was selected to manage the conference, Raju Kannampuzha, Managing Director, Executive Events said: "This conference was awarded to us based on our past performances. We are the preferred event agency, as we have previously managed a similar meet for the Cardiological Society of India in Kerala."
