The event was executed by Encompass. Encompass shares a close and long-term relationship with Asian Paints and has been managing this conference for 11 years. They were responsible for conceptualizing the event, designing the collaterals, artist management and final execution of the event.
This conference is organized to analyze past performance, plan for the future and celebrate individual and team success. This year, the conference focused on sustaining and widening their leadership position.
As a lead up to the event, interactions were created on the company's internal web platforms, where people were asked to submit their challenge stories and were encouraged to play quizzes, games, etc. that were aligned with the theme of the conference. Scores were tabulated for region-wise teams as well as individually, based on which rewards were handed out over the course of the conference.
The event was planned bearing in mind the mandate to make it a never-before experience for the audience, and driving the brand communication in a manner which was lucid enough to absorb, while being engaging enough to be imbibed and practiced.
Upon their arrival in Goa, the guests were taken around for a ‘Goa Quest', which was like a task-led engagement, wherein the teams had to perform tasks together. Over the next two days was the conference, which opened in a unique fashion. The teams made their way into the ballroom, screaming, in an effort to break vocal barriers through the ‘Decibel Challenge Meter'. The venue itself was set up according to a sports theme and the conference was declared open by Asian Paints's MD & CEO, who lit up the cauldron, Olympic style. Following this were leadership and region presentations, interspersed with inspirational AV content and championship games which aimed to drive home the message of team spirit and also kept alive the ethos of healthy competition.
The final night was a time to celebrate the success of the performers and acknowledge the contributions of the few who have been associated with the company for substantial years.
