DMAi has recently associated with the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA), thus allowing companies and individuals involved in direct marketing in India to benefit from the resources and expertise of the ADMA, and ensuring the protection, promotion and development of direct marketing practices in India. With ADMA pioneering various activities to enhance direct marketing practices, it is ideal to bring in ADMA's learning and expertise to India. ADMA focuses on education and advocacy, with the ultimate aim of producing enlightened and responsible direct marketing to consumers. The direct marketing global convention will be an ideal platform to share ADMA's proficiency in building and developing the direct marketing community with Indian and other international companies which are attending.
This partnership is specifically been enacted across six areas - education to develop and share direct marketing education programmes that will develop and grow the business in respective regions; information resource sharing which can be made available to the respective member bases; conferences, seminars and other programmes to promote and support the development of subject matter and event promotion; networking and contact development to establish business operations in respective countries; recognising excellence to maintain a high standard of direct marketing practice; and member recognition to ensure that the members receive member rates to conference, seminars and other programmes.
Commenting on the association, Shelly Singh, Director, DMAi said: "It's a matter of honour and pride to be associated with ADMA and thus, launch our first global convention in India. A relationship with ADMA will facilitate continuous sharing of information developed by the association, recognizing excellence in direct marketing and constantly working towards growing the direct marketing community. With consumer behaviour changing each day, company laws getting more and more stringent, and Indian companies getting more aligned with international marketing practices, the association with ADMA will not only add greater strengths to our efforts to build the direct marketing community, but also change the face of direct marketing network in India."
Jodie Sangster, CEO, ADMA & Chairperson, International Federation of Direct Marketing Associations added: "With DMAi, we are delighted to welcome a committed body to build the direct marketing network. This joint collaboration will help ADMA and DMAi to adopt the best practices in direct marketing across the two countries. This partnership not only highlights ADMA's confidence in DMAi but also shows that the global direct marketing community believes in the incredibly positive impact DMAi will have on the community."
