The organizer of the annual summit is Pharma Leaders, a bi-monthly magazine in association with the other leaders of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and supported by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and Maharashtra as the state partner.

Since its inception, the event has witnessed participation from more than 2,000 delegates, over 200 speakers and 140 companies and entrepreneurs. Leaders and stalwarts from the industry are recognized and felicitated for their contribution through this platform. The event also features debates and discussions on varied topics and hurdles faced in the past. This edition of the summit and award show will include a debate on Brand India Pharma, in line with the Indian government's objective and vision to protect the pharmaceutical industry in the global context.
